Rahat is currently Associate Director at Turner & Townsend (London) where he is leading the delivery of risk and resilience services to infrastructure clients. His is currently engaged with the UK water sector in it’s programme for securing strategic long-term resilience.

Prior to this Rahat spent 18 years in Qatar, working for QatarEnergy LNG (formally Qatargas). Rahat was instrumental in setting up and running the risk and resilience function and embedded risk-based decision making in all aspects of business.

Rahat was Board member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) from 2018-24 and lead the establishment of the IRM chapter in Qatar and the development of the risk and resilience profession in the region.
