Mr. Mahdi holds a degree in Accountancy from South Australian Institute of Technology, Adelaide (University of South Australia – UNISA).
Mr. Mahdi has been a facilitator for the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) since 2012 and is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
In Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia), he served as an examiner on IT, cybersecurity and business continuity management in banks and insurance companies and was Director of several departments.
He was also responsible for promoting and enforcing the Business Continuity Management Guidelines and Information System Guidelines amongst financial institutions under the purview of BNM.
