The Awards<\/h4>\n

\nThis year, the conference will present six awards to outstanding institutions, organizations, and individuals in the field of Business Continuity and Resiliency to stimulate institutional and individual excellence with a transparent criterion and a clear mechanism for selecting the best applicants for the award. The Awards are:\n<\/p>\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

\nThe information below will help you understand the application criteria, judging process, and rules. Please review the rules carefully to ensure that you are eligible to apply and that your submission is complete and meets all requirements.\n<\/p>\n\n

Application Rules:<\/h4>\n

It is important to emphasize that the awards process has specific rules in place, and it is imperative to follow them. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The following are the general criteria that applications must meet:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Before you apply for any award, please read the requirements and Terms & Conditions for the specific award.<\/li>\n
  2. All applications should be submitted in English. We accept using online translation tools to help with the process.<\/li>\n
  3. Applicants must provide evidence for criterion in each chosen category.<\/li>\n
  4. Evidence will only be accepted within 24 months of the application end date unless otherwise specified.<\/li>\n
  5. Each criterion has a maximum word count. Please adhere to this limit, as any words beyond this limit will be omitted.<\/li>\n
  6. To ensure that all testimonials are fair and of equal length, there is a maximum limit of 200 words per testimonial. Any words beyond this limit will not be taken into consideration.<\/li>\n
  7. To ensure fairness in the judging process, we will evaluate the applications based solely on the quality of the evidence submitted. Any additional documents beyond the requested evidence will not be taken into consideration.<\/li>\n
  8. Hyperlinks to evidence are not permitted. Please include all evidence directly within the application.<\/li>\n
  9. Applications received after the advertised deadline will not be considered.<\/li>\n
  10. To maintain fairness and impartiality during the awards assessment period, applicants and organizations must not contact the awards judges.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Scoring Criteria:<\/h4>\n

    To evaluate applicants’ evidence-based submissions, the judges will use the following three performance descriptors:<\/p>\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
    Level<\/th>\n Score Range<\/th>\n Narrative<\/th>\n <\/tr>\n <\/thead>\n
    High-quality evidence<\/td>\n Score between 4-5<\/td>\n Applicant\u2019s evidence is timebound, addresses the criterion and is thoroughly explained.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
    Moderate quality evidence<\/td>\n Score between 2-3<\/td>\n Applicant\u2019s evidence is timebound, partly addresses the criterion and is somewhat explained.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
    Low-quality evidence<\/td>\n Score between 0-1<\/td>\n Applicant\u2019s evidence is not dated, does not address the criterion, or is poorly explained.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n <\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n

    Moderation and Decision:<\/h4>\n

    \nTo ensure a transparent and equitable application process and select the most deserving award recipients, a committee consisting of the Head Judge and experts in several industries will review, evaluate, and score the applications and evidence based on the above score criteria.\n<\/p>\n

    \nThe Head Judge will call for Moderation meetings if a consensus cannot be reached. These meetings are essential for promoting consistency, impartiality, and inclusivity in judging. In case no consensus has yet been reached, the Head Judge will make the final decision.\n<\/p>\n\n
