With over 20 years of experience spanning compliance, risk management, and internal audit, Abdulla has been instrumental in strengthening CBQ’s governance frameworks, regulatory alignment, and operational resilience through data-driven risk monitoring, enhanced governance mechanisms, and adoption of AI-enabled analytics for financial crime prevention and regulatory reporting.
Abdulla holds an MBA from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom and has been recognized among the “Middle East’s 10 Most Influential Chief Compliance Officers” for his leadership in driving compliance innovation and regulatory excellence in the financial sector.
